Our bakehouse is growing, and we now have multiple opportunities for Trade qualified Pastrycooks with Plant Bakery experience to join our team of pie-loving individuals in Keilor Park, VIC and be part of baking history.

How you will rise to the occasion

In this role, you will produce a wide variety of baked goods including pies and celebration cakes, while utilizing a range of skills from running high speed processing equipment to manual handling ingredients and finished product.

Core duties:

  • Produce a range of pastry and cake products utilizing your trade skills and plant bakery experience.
  • Set-up and monitor production to maximize quality and minimize waste.
  • Ensure production targets are met whilst ensuring HACCP quality and safety adherence at all times.
  • Provide leadership in continuous improvement and team effectiveness.

Importantly, you will follow health and safety standards while ensuring that your area is clean and maintained at all times.

Please note: Public transport is quite challenging in this area and as such you will need a car to get here.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced food environment (plant bakery or equivalent) is essential.
